Humble Words November 2015

Taking time to think about and discuss what we are thankful for is a very healthy thing in business and in our personal lives. As a company, Humble Construction has a lot of gratitude for the clients, subcontractors, employees and other partners who have helped us become one of the premier construction companies in our region. As the people who lead Humble, we express a sincere thank you.

 Fuels Performance.

You can find many scientific studies that demonstrate a connection between gratitude and a person's overall well being. For some athletes, taking time to reflect on what they are thankful for helps them think beyond their last play, the scoreboard or the statistics. As a result, they are able to perform at a higher level.

The construction business can test your attitude. With so many variables, unknowns and potential points of failure, it would be easy to let your guard down from time to time. But when you really enjoy what you do and the people you do it for, you can't help but have a high level of gratitude. In turn, that gratitude fuels your performance, driving you to stay sharp and deliver at the highest level every day.

With this excitement for our work, we are able to think differently and innovate. That is how we developed our four fundamental Humble Construction Design/Construction Principles.

People -- building exteriors are important, but it is critical to design and build interiors for the people who live and work inside them.

Flexibility -- businesses are changing faster than ever, so the work environment we construction today must be completely flexible and changeable for tomorrow.

Environment -- the workplaces that we build should be people-centric and eco-sensitive, with sunlight, fresh air, and natural sounds.

Speed/Cost -- Instead of lowering costs by cheapening our components, equipment and fixtures, we save you money by using methods outlined for quality, pre-engineering, direct purchasing, and componentization.

Humble Construction is fortunate to have so many clients, subcontractors, employees and other partners who fuel our performance. So with Thanksgiving behind us and the holiday season upon us, we want to express a sincere thank you to everyone we have worked with and worked for this year.

Let us show you how gratitude fuels our performance.
